Commercial Underwriter, City Centre, Cape Town. Short Term Insurance Underwriter with Brokerage experience, required for a Cape Town based Financial Service Provider. Previous experience in supporting an Account Executive preferred.

Minimum requirements: Grade 12, FAIS compliant – Credits and/or full qualification essential RE5 essential. Minimum 3 years’ short term insurance underwriting experience in a Broker environment, preferred. Strong administrative skills required. Strong Excel skills essential.

Responsibilities: New business underwriting – quotations, processing and issuing of policies. Renewals Policy administration – amendments, endorsements, etc. Business retention Raise premiums Insurer negotiation and liaison Portfolio analysis Enquiries.
