Commercial and Industrial Refrigeration Company in Northern Suburbs, Cape Town, require a refrigeration technician to join our installation and repair team. You will be responsible for processing and completing work orders, installing new refrigeration systems, troubleshooting mechanical failures and performing equipment maintenance. You should have advanced knowledge of refrigeration systems and good mechanical skills.

Duties will include, but not be limited to: Repair commercial refrigeration plants: Multiplexes; Simplexes and electrical repairs. Fault-finding on Refrigeration plants on site and remotely. Fault-finding on electrical boards. Commission refrigeration plant, monitoring system and sign off plants with project managers. Complete Job card and sign off with client. Communicate any extra work required on site.

Install, service, and repair refrigeration systems and equipment such as condensing units, compressors, and evaporators. Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills is a pre-requisite in this career. You must have a clear criminal record and good references. Accuracy, technical skills and extensive knowledge of refrigeration systems and equipment are requirements for the position. Drivers licence required. At least 3 years post-trade experience.
