Personal Support Worker – Nursing Care. City Healthcare Services, Location: Toronto, ON. Salary: 34.75 hourly / 35 hours per week. Full-time. Start as soon as possible. In-house position at the agency. Languages: English. Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Experience is an asset. Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. Work setting. Nursing home/home for the aged.

Responsibilities: Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities. Assist with the maintenance and repair of medical equipment. Perform other duties related to patient care and comfort. Perform other duties related to personal care. Supply empty bedpans. Take patients' blood pressure, temperature, and pulse. Serve meal trays and feed patients. Weigh, lift, turn, and position patients. Deliver messages, reports, requisitions, and specimens between departments. Make beds and maintain patients' rooms. Supervise patients' exercise routines. Maintain an inventory of supplies. Bathe, dress, and groom patients. Transport patients between care facilities. Transport patients in a wheelchair or stretcher. Answer call signals to determine patients' needs. Collect specimens. Administer first aid in emergency situations. Credentials. Certificates, licenses, memberships, and courses. First Aid Certificate. CPR Certificate.
