About the role: The City of Sydney has an exciting opportunity for a Business Support Officer to join our friendly and collaborative Planning Assessments Team. You'll provide high-quality business and project/administrative support to the Executive Manager of Planning & Development, the members of the Planning Assessments, Construction & Building Certification Services, and Health & Building senior management team. You'll also ensure all administrative procedures are provided and delivered in a competent, professional, and efficient manner.
We are looking for someone with: extensive experience in office management, including the provision of clerical, secretarial and administrative support services to a busy operationally focused teams in a complex and high-profile situation highly developed oral and written communication skills and the ability to provide clear and concise written and verbal advice/information, interact with a broad range of staff and external customers, project management skills including the ability to research and provide appropriate responses to address issues at hand with attention to detail and accuracy.
