About the role Reporting to the Director of People and Culture, you will be at the forefront of human resources operations, leading a multiskilled and dedicated team to deliver exceptional people and culture strategies. Leading the day-to-day HR operations and seeking continuous improvements in processes and systems. Developing and implementing comprehensive people and culture strategies across the employee lifecycle. Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and internal policies. Coaching managers on effective recruitment and employee management to maintain a positive work environment. Providing hands-on support and advice on HR and ER matters, including performance management and employment conditions.
About you: You are an experienced HR Generalist with a strong background in operational HR functions. You hold tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline and have ideally gained experience working in the not-for-profit sector. You have demonstrable skills and a proven track record of executing HR strategies and achieving operational results. You are passionate about coaching and developing team members to build capability and engagement and enhance the HR brand within the business. You possess strong knowledge of the Fair Work Act, can interpret awards and legislative changes, are adept at writing responses, and ideally have experience representing the company in the commission. Your experience includes leading projects, utilising data and analytics to engage stakeholders, and driving meaningful organisational improvements.
