ABOUT THE COMPANY: We have been exclusively engaged by a specialist industry market leader. They have strong market share across the East Coast and look to expand nationally. Over the past few years, they have experienced double-digit growth and have a strong reputation and brand in the market. Due to their continued strong growth, they are looking to recruit a Finance Manager to partner closely with the senior leadership team.

ABOUT THE ROLE: Reporting to the General Manager of Operations and dotted line to the CEO, this is truly a business-partnering role to deliver major strategic objectives over the next 3-5 years. Working closely with the senior leaders of the organisation, you will be instrumental in shaping the finance function and be the key adviser to the CEO, as well as working cross-functionally with the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Report into the General Manager of Operations; the key responsibilities in the role include: Ownership of month-end closure procedures. Management of monthly business Reporting. Preparation of budget and variance analysis. Working capital management and monthly cashflow forecast. Inventory management: monitor stock, stocktake. Support the negotiation of supplier contracts. Provide financial advice and support to key business leaders to effectively and efficiently manage business operations and performance. Hands-on with policy and process creation of a growing business.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: CA or CPA Qualified. Worked in a small to medium-sized manufacturing organization. Strong inventory accounting knowledge and foreign currency exposure. Experience working in a start-up environment. Confidently engaging in discussion with key stakeholders with ability to build effective working relationships.
