Responsibilities: Join the Hotel Executive Team, providing both financial and business support and advice and demonstrating solid business acumen to guide the company through pre-opening and beyond. Preparation of budgets, financial reports, and management reports. Assist in the recruitment and development of the finance team. Maintain control over expenses, income, assets and liability of the Hotel. Ownership of the Accounts receivable and payable, general cashier, audit and payroll functions. Manage the generation of month-end reports, including P&L, in a timely manner. Provide long-term business and financial planning with strategic recommendations. Create sound, legally compliant financial policies, processes, and procedures, ensuring the integrity of all ledgers and financial accounting. Contribute to the overall profitability of the company. Provide insightful analysis on financial performance. Provide clear communication, advice and reporting to all relevant stakeholders, including owners and regional Finance teams.
Experience & Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Commerce or Finance. Minimum 8 years in hotel accounting or related field. CA/CPA qualified. Demonstrated knowledge of Accounting and PMS systems. Strong business acumen with strategic expertise. proven track record in creating efficiencies across financial processes, procedures, and strong internal controls. Excellent analytical and numerical reasoning skills. Strong organisational skills, time management and attention to detail. Demonstrated experience in leading a team, prioritizing workload and effectively managing staff. Display a proactive attitude with the ability to meet deadlines.
