The Opportunity Are you passionate about fostering cultural exchange through tourism? Join us in this newly created position of Senior Cultural Tourism Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in major project delivery, event management, stakeholder engagement, and visitor experience. As part of our new Cultural Tourism team, you will collaborate closely with the Cultural Tourism Manager and wider FORM team to lead and support major cultural tourism initiatives, ensuring the delivery of world-class experiences while empowering communities and stakeholders.
how you'll make a difference: Develop and execute project and program strategies, providing expertise to senior management. Scope, develop, and deliver major cultural tourism projects and programs, ensuring long-term sustainable outcomes. Engage with stakeholders and communities, empowering them in the design and delivery of cultural tourism experiences.
What you'll need to get you started. Deep understanding of cultural tourism principles and best practices. Knowledge of community engagement methodologies. Cultural sensitivity and respect for Indigenous cultures. Outstanding project management skills. Ability to think strategically and creatively. Experience in stakeholder engagement and financial management. Tertiary qualification in arts management, tourism, or related discipline. Minimum two (2) years' experience in managing cultural tourism projects. Project management or related certifications are desirable. National Police Clearance and a Valid Driver's license.
