Aircraft maintenance engineer Cape Town base Position requirements: Valid SACCA Engineers License with A&C Rating: Advantage to hold the rating or logged experience for the Pilatus PC12 and/or Leonardo AW119 airframe and the PT6A-67B/P engines. Two or more years of aviation maintenance experience in an operational environment on both fixed wing and rotor wing aircrafts. Flexible approach to working hours and be prepared to do extensive travelling. Should additional training be required, applicants must be prepared to sign a training bond.

Critical Requirements: Excellent Administrative Skills. Good Communications Skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Good work ethics and ability to self-manage, but also work well in a team. Own reliable transport is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities: Serviceable Aircraft Delivered. Carry out fault finding and defect rectification. Ensure the correct spares are ordered. Maintain good tool control. Comply with SACAA or other relevant Authorities Regulations. Professional commitment to safety and quality of aircrafts and maintenance facilities. Adhere to standard times for maintenance tasks. Ensure all work is carried out according to documentation and conformance to Aircraft Maintenance Manuals. Experience in defect diagnostics and rectifications. Good understandings of aviation-based IT software:- maintenance planning, manuals, components tracking etc and aviation maintenance record keeping and reporting, routinely and on tasking.
