MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: Grade 12 or equivalent and technical qualification Licensed electrician, 4 Years+ maintenance technician experience, Competent in mechanical, electrical and industrial electronics Hands-on experience in practical mechanics, Supervisory experience

Computer skills: Experience in engineering disciplines

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

Daily management and maintenance of plant and equipment

Ensure scheduled planned maintenance is done

Maintenance of forklift and reach truck batteries

Assist with electrical repairs of the refrigeration plant and other materials handling equipment

Ensure that the work environment is maintained in accordance with set health and safety standards

Minimize errors, damage to products and claims through ongoing application of corrective actions

Responsible for office and administrative duties and handling orders

Planning and organizing the daily activities of maintenance staff

Building and site maintenance, i.e. painting, plumbing, replacing of window panes, etc.

Any related tasks as allocated by superior

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
