Creditors Clerk, Bellville, Northern Suburbs. Company Name: Britos Meat (PTY) LTD. Large Meat processing Group of companies is looking to employ a well presented, professional Creditors Clerk, to start as soon as possible. 

Education Requirements: Grade 12 with Accounting as Subject. Computer literate with above average excel skills. Tertiary qualification in Finance /Certified Course /Bookkeeping

Requirements: 5 years in an Accounts payable position with full creditors function, in a retail environment. Knowledge of accounting packages will be a requirement. Able to work under pressure, with good interpersonal skills, strong problem solving and analytical ability. Ability to work without supervision, with excellent excel skills.

Responsibility: Duties to include the following, but not limited to Completion of new supplier credit application forms. Ensure the supplier accounts details are current and up to date (this includes all COD suppliers too) in the master data. Check and ensure all relevant documentation are received and approved. Monitor and follow up on all outstanding supplier documentation. Capturing of invoice data. Ensuring that all operations invoices, quotations and supporting documentation are approved and confirm prices. Importing of purchase transactions from Group Companies. Reconciliations - reconcile supplier statements to accounting records and payment requisitions. Timeous response to supplier queries. Prepare weekly and monthly payment schedules. Ensure that the month-end deadline is reached timeously. Clean up and analyzing of supplier age analysis monthly. Accurate and timeous filing of Supplier statements and invoices after payment. General Performs tasks, other than those specified above, as requested by management.
