Qualifications/Experience: Matric. Driver’s license. 2 to 5 years experience in the Telematics Industry. Computer Literacy – Microsoft Office. English speaking with French, Spanish or Italian as an additional language.

Duties and Responsibilities: Projects Ongoing and regular “bug” hunting on the User Interface, including testing when customers identify issues, Creation of project tasks – pre and post development testing and discussion. Pre-development Testing – planning and specifications. Task creation and capturing. Ensure that development is in line with the specification, Post release testing. Regression Testing – post release and post deployment testing. UI Improvements – suggestions and feedback from Support Queries and Customer input.

Customer Support: SOP Compliance. Assisting with Support Queries and Customer Calls. Customer Liaison and dealing with enquiries. Customer Liaison. New customer onboarding. Existing customer liaison. Device Management. Quality Assurance on hardware Integrations – setting up devices on the platform and test bench, and testing post integration – prior to release.

Identifying (through Customer Engagement) devices to be integrated

Qualities: Knowledge and interest in computer systems and the latest technologies. The ability to learn new technologies quickly. An analytical mind. The ability to communicate complex procedures to other colleagues. Commercial and business awareness. Good communication skills – both written and verbal. Cultural awareness – understand cultural environments of the customers.

Attention to detail: Ability to work in a team. Second or third language will be an advantage (French, Spanish, Italian).
