Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of university
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Alliance of Physiotherapy Regulatory Boards Examination, Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
Experience: Experience an asset
Work Setting: Private practice, Nursing home
Area of Practice: Sports therapy, Orthopedics
Specific Skills: Assess patients' physical abilities, Administer evaluative tests and procedures, Plan physiotherapy programs, Select appropriate exercises, apparatus and manipulations, Maintain clinical and progress reports, Confer with other health professionals
Additional Skills: Supervise technical and support staff
Security and Safety: Bondable, Driver's validity licence check, Eligible for professional liability insurance
