Position Available Now: We are currently seeking a senior-level physiotherapist to join our team of 18 dedicated clinicians, all passionate about empowering clients across the Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, and Hunter regions. This role is ideal for a high-performing, self-directed physiotherapist eager to practice their craft at one of the newest and largest rehabilitation clinics in the state.
We prefer full-time applicants, but part-time candidates will also be considered.
We are looking for a therapist who: has significant experience (4+ years) working with adult clients living with neurological conditions and is committed to making a real difference in their lives. Values collaboration within a multidisciplinary team of experienced professionals. Enjoys mentoring and supporting peers. Is interested in flexible work options that promote a healthy work-life balance.
Wants the opportunity to deliver care both in our purpose-built neurorehabilitation center and within the community.
Seeks the chance to receive mentorship—something often promised but rarely delivered. Enjoys independence and autonomy in their role. Can manage a diverse caseload of clients funded through NDIS, iCare, My Aged Care, and other private channels.
The role: While we ideally seek a full-time applicant, we are open to negotiating hours for the right candidate. You will manage a physiotherapy caseload primarily consisting of adults with neurological conditions, providing in-clinic assessments and treatments, as well as home visits and hydrotherapy in the community. You will provide patient-centered care, empowering clients to achieve their goals.

About Levaro: Located in Bennetts Green, NSW, providing supports in clinic and across the Hunter Region: Our allied health team includes occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and speech pathologists. We have a dedicated leadership team, including our clinical director, operations manager, and team leaders. Support from a highly capable on-site administration team. Access to the only purpose-built neurological rehabilitation center in Lake Macquarie, one of the largest in the region, featuring 270 square meters of well-equipped, air-conditioned gym space.

Many of our clients are supported by the NDIS and iCare insurance schemes; experience with these schemes is advantageous.
Minimum requirements for working at Levaro: A genuine passion for supporting people with disabilities, particularly those with neurological conditions. A tertiary qualification and AHPRA registration (without restrictions). A commitment to a client-centered approach. Excellent collaboration skills and demonstrated ability to work in partnership. A commitment to the inclusion and participation of people with disabilities in their local and natural communities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. A commitment to ongoing learning and development of new skills and capabilities. A commitment to evidence-based practice. Understanding of the rights of people with disabilities. Confidence to work independently and collaborate within a team. A current driver’s license and willingness to travel as required for the role. A current national police check. An NDIS worker screening check clearance. Willingness to provide a confirmation record of up-to-date COVID-19 vaccinations.
