Pet Groomer
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Weekend, Day
Salary: Remuneration Based on Commission Only, Commission

Skill Requirements:
Education: Not applicable
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Dog groomer course
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Work Setting: Pet grooming shop
Type of Pets Groomed: All breeds of dogs, Cats, Dogs (small), Dogs (large)
Pet Grooming Experience: Bathing/shampooing, Clipping and styling, Ear cleaning, Flea baths, Nail clipping
Animal Care Experience: Domestic animals/pets (cats, kittens, puppies, dogs, etc.)
Weight Handling: Up to 26 kg (50 lbs)
Additional Skills: Keep records of animals treated
Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding
Essential Skills: Decision making
Other Information:Must have completed pet groomer course. As per NS Employment Standards we guarantee at least minimum wage paid for all hours worked.
