About the role: As an Experienced Dog Groomer, you will have the opportunity to work alongside our current team of professionals at our salon in Fisher. On offer is an attractive hourly rate based on experience, the opportunity for growth and further training and education, and the option for paid vocational training. We offer an EAP program which includes physiotherapy, discounted services and a great working environment. We are looking for a self-starter who has a passion for animal care and great customer service. A great team player with a positive, can-do attitude.

Key Responsibilities and Duties: Professional salon grooming experience. Pre-grooming, bathing and drying of dogs; Gentle and confident dog handling techniques. Grooming an extensive range of dog breeds & styles, including scissor clips and specialty face and feet styles. Animal welfare; Customer service; Compliance with procedures and policies; Facility maintenance and cleaning; Professional development; and Any other tasks as required.

Qualifications and Requirements: Qualifications in grooming will be highly regarded, but not essential. Dog handling experience; Ability to lift 20 kg unassisted; Physically fit and able to stand all day; Experience in working as part of a team; Desire for continuing education; Good written and verbal communication skills; A passion for dogs and their wellbeing.
