Your Opportunity: Aligned to Urban Utilities’ corporate strategy and core operations, the People and External Relations group is a key enabling function in our business, responsible for driving performance and achievement of the organization’s objectives through the delivery of effective engagement, partnerships, and relationships with our people and key external stakeholders.
The workforce reporting analyst plays a vital role in developing and maintaining automated business intelligence (BI) reports and visual dashboards. These tools provide leaders across the organization with easy access to key metrics. Acting as a primary point of contact, you will manage support requests related to HR reporting, insights, and the preparation of ad hoc analyses as needed.
This role also contributes to the identification and implementation of improvement initiatives to enhance the quality, timeliness, and effectiveness of HR reporting, data outputs, processes, and tools.
Additionally, the workforce reporting analyst ensures compliance with information and data security and privacy obligations. Your key responsibilities will include:
HR Data Analysis & Insights: Provide complex HR data analysis, identify trends, and deliver insights to support workforce planning, talent management, and performance.
Data Visualization & Storytelling: Design and automate data visualizations to enhance decision-making and streamline delivery.
Business Intelligence & Optimization: Support HR processes with advanced BI tools, integrate data, and identify opportunities for operational improvement.
Data Exploration & Reporting: Conduct advanced HR analytics, refine models, validate reporting accuracy, and manage data quality and security.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Advice: Partner with stakeholders to provide data-driven solutions and HR reporting support.

Ideally, you will have or be working towards: Experience and expertise in HR, workforce, and talent analytics, including data visualization, storytelling, and HRIS platforms. Technical skills and proficiency in programming languages for data analytics and experience with BI tools. Skilled in complex analysis, data modeling, testing techniques, statistical analysis, and ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement in insights and reporting. Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to build productive business partnerships and present compelling data-driven stories to stakeholders at all levels. A proactive and curious mindset with the ability to ask insightful questions about people analytics and consistently develop technical skills to enhance professional growth.
