About the role: A senior test analyst with expertise in the Power Platform and Dynamics 365 landscape, will be responsible for undertaking testing activities, including the preparation of supporting documentation and reports. You will be part of a large project team developing a modern cloud-based suite of solutions on Microsoft Dynamics 365 with integrations to on-prem applications and third-party cloud providers. The senior test analyst will be responsible for undertaking testing activities, including the preparation of supporting documentation and reports.

Job Title: Senior Test Analyst. Duration: 24 months + likely extension. Location: Brisbane CBD.

Responsibilities: Creating testing artifacts, including test plans and test summary report documents.

Managing and coordinating test efforts. Ensuring that the testing standards and templates align to the organization and to the industry practices. Mentoring and providing guidance to subject matter experts within the organization. Assist in managing and implementing the test and assurance process for the project Coordinate a test team as necessary. Derive and produce test cases and associated test data from detailed requirements.

Undertake ongoing maintenance of test cases. Design and execution of test cases. Document the results of test cases; there will be a strong emphasis on the accurate and thorough reporting of all results. Coordination of testing tasks, resolution, and/or escalation of issues impacting testing progress. Monitor testing to ensure adherence to standards. Assist in managing the test environment. Manage the resolution of any defects that are raised, and escalate significant quality concerns to the Test Manager. Provide timely updates to the Test Manager.

Required skills: demonstrated experience in testing Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform applications within an Agile software development lifecycle. Demonstrated project experience and the ability to contribute to delivering project outcomes on time and within budget. Demonstrated experience of technologies and ICT infrastructure in a large, diverse, and complex environment. Experience of testing methodologies and use of test tools such as ALM (Quality Center), JIRA, Confluence, Zephyr Scale with a good understanding of the software development lifecycle and the role of testing in successful project delivery. quoting reference #265755
