Huon’s Projects and Engineering team is on the hunt for a qualified diesel mechanic to join the team at our Port Huon workshop on a 7-day on/7-day off roster.

The role: Reporting to the workshop manager, the role includes, but is not limited to, working closely and collaboratively with a small team of dedicated mechanics and fitters. Ongoing servicing, maintenance, and repairs to a range of marine engines and installations. Daily work routine in a fast-paced and often unpredictable environment.

About you Our ideal candidate will have: Proven experience with diesel engines and hydraulics in a marine or similar environment is essential. Trade qualifications as a diesel mechanic, diesel fitter, small engine mechanic, or a recognised qualification as a hydraulic technician is highly regarded.
