Responsibilities: Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions. Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts. Keep maintenance reports and documentation. Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications. Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work. Perform repair work on heavy trucks. Assist process and machine operators in mineral ore and metal processing. Credentials. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses. Driver's License (Class 3 or D). Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Experience and specialization. Specialization or experience. Specialized environmental skills and knowledge. Diesel engine repair specialization. Major internal engine repairs or overhauls. Installation and alignment of engines and machinery. Powered equipment repair specialization.
