Roles: Be in regular contact with every supplier and request the latest price lists. Load the latest price lists onto the system. Cycle through each department and check pricing is in alignment with target markup. Develop a relationship with suppliers and negotiate terms for accounts. Hold suppliers to account when they attempt to push through price increases without prior notification. Analyze the price structure of ranges within the store and adjust as per requirements. Conduct price comparisons with other retailers. Capturing data into Pastel. Must live in the southern suburbs near Lakeside.
Requirements: Proficiency in spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Excel) for data manipulation and reporting Previous relevant experience in a retail environment. Knowledge of Arch system is highly advantageous. Understanding of basic accounting principles and cost management concepts
