Yards Man. Fetch Recruitment. Yatala, Gold Coast QLD. Laborers (Trades & Services). Contract/Temp: AUD 70000 - 90000 per hour. Due to rapid business growth, one of our clients is looking for a yardsperson to join their Yatala branch.

Position Overview: This construction hire business is looking for an experienced yard person to join their yard based in Yatala. The role will be a mix of yard-based work and site deliveries/pickups.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY DUTIES: Maintaining the organization, cleanliness, and functionality of the yard and workshop. Receiving, cleaning, and storage of materials, hardware, tools, etc., from project sites. Cosmetically, mechanically, and electronically inspect returning equipment. Fulfilling orders to go to new or existing projects. Loading and unloading by forklift. Using a work ute for delivering or picking up smaller loads or items. Keeping to delivery schedules and timelines. Monitor ‘test and tag’ of equipment. Clean out and wash returning work vehicles, small plants, and equipment. Assisting mechanics within the workshop when required.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Ideally, you'd come with Yards Person, Store Person, or Civil Laboring experience. Current forklift ticket and white card. ‘Test and Tag’ ticket highly regarded. License + Own Transport—There will be times where an earlier start is required due to site demands

This is an ongoing position where you will be working 8-10 hour days, 5 days per week. Some Saturdays might be required.
