ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE: An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Theatre leader to join our professional, experienced and dynamic team in our hospital. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for operational delivery of services across the Theatre department while working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to maintain a customer-focused approach to delivering exceptional care. Theatres include General Surgery, Ortho, Obstetrics & Gynae, Ophthalmology, Paediatrics,

Urology & Plastics: The successful candidate will work closely with their Manager to ensure Key Performance Indicators are met, strategic objectives are delivered, and business growth is achieved, whilst delivering excellent clinical care for Theatre patients. This role will be full time working 38 hours per week and will be pivotal in the delivery of an outstanding Theatre Services.

ABOUT YOU: As an outstanding Theatre Nurse Unit Manager, you are a Registered Nurse with AHPRA, an experienced leader in a Theatre setting for at least 2 years, and have post-graduate qualifications or working towards.

Your skills and roles will include: Providing overall management of the Theatre unit to maximise effective business and patient outcomes. 2 years minimum management experience. Establishing, developing and maintaining effective relationships with staff, customers, Visiting Medical Practitioners (VMPs), patients, families and significant others. Providing direction, support and advice to nursing staff and other support personnel. Developing and maintaining a budget and to interpret performance data for reporting purposes. You must have working rights for Australia.
