Contract Technician, Shawn Delaney Consultancy Pty Ltd., Melbourne VIC. Security Services (Trades and Services). Contract/Temp. $55–$70 per hour. Marathon Security is a security alarm company that, together with our associates, has been in the security industry for 35 years. We are seeking a contract technician to install and commission Bosch alarm and CCTV systems throughout Melbourne CBD and within close suburbs.

We require a technician that is experienced and can demonstrate their experience with all alarm systems, especially Bosch 6000 panels. We offer only ad-hoc work but pay excellent rates for good service.

The Role: This role requires an independent individual that has the capacity to lead/execute works to a high standard on a range of projects that are based within the Melbourne Metro and Western Suburbs Area

Your duties will include installation, maintenance, repair, modification, and testing of alarms and CCTV systems, mainly well-known brands, fault finding, upgrades, and commissioning. Report and escalate any issues to senior management as required. Liaise with clients to understand requirements. Capability to connect to a grade 1 monitoring center. What you will need: Security Installers Registration, Australian driving license.

Bosch Accreditation / Qualifications: Good customer service and communication skills. Your own tools for installation. If you are mostly overbooked and working for multiple security companies, we are not interested in reviewing your application. Technicians must be available to carry out work after receiving 36 hours' notice.
