Mechanic (fully qualified), Welshpool auto mechanic. Welshpool, Perth WA. Automotive Trades (Trades & Services). Full time. $99,000–$110,000 per year. We are looking for a highly skilled, qualified motor mechanic on a full-time basis to handle an increasing workload. We do all kinds of repairs on mostly all types of vehicles. We also have a tire replacement shop under the same roof.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m. Weekend negotiable.

Skills and experience: At least 2 years experience as a fully qualified mechanic (required) after certificate 3 is completed.

To be suitable for this position, you will: be reliable, punctual, and enthusiastic about providing quality service. Be able to diagnose issues and efficiently complete tasks. Have excellent workshop organization and time management skills. Enjoy working with a small team of skilled mechanics. Have a broad knowledge of most vehicle makes and models. Have good customer service skills over the phone and at the front counter. Removes units, such as engine, transmission, or differential, using wrenches and hoists. Disassembles units and inspects parts for wear, using micrometers, calipers, and thickness gauges. Repairs or replaces parts, such as pistons, rods, gears, valves, and bearings, using mechanic's hand tools, must have a motor vehicle repair certificate card, full knowledge of diagnostics in all kinds of cars, including mechanical and electrical, tire fitting, balancing, and alignment experience, but training can be provided for the right candidate.
