Mechanical Fitter: FULL TIME PERMANENT ROLE. A competitive hourly rate is on offer to the right candidate who is also prepared to work weekends and overtime as required. D'Orsogna Ltd. has been established for over 75 years and is a recognized market leader manufacturing quality continental gourmet meats, hams, bacon, and smallgoods.

An opportunity has arisen to appoint a suitably qualified, multi-skilled mechanical fitter to join our progressive maintenance team on a permanent full-time basis on a day shift with flexibility to cover the afternoon shift. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in maintaining and supporting a range of high-speed processing and packaging equipment.

The successful applicant will also possess excellent communication skills. Experience with troubleshooting and problem solving. The flexibility in regards to working hours, which may include working overtime and weekends. The expertise and right attitude to contribute effectively to the maintenance team with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.

Trade qualifications: high level of numeracy and literacy skills. Permanent residency status preferred but will consider temporary skilled holiday or short-term visa holders. Looking for long-term employment. Previous food industry experience and knowledge of steam raising and refrigeration plants would be a distinct advantage.
