Full time. $125,000 plus. Are you an experienced senior occupational therapist or senior speech pathologist with strong leadership skills and a passion for making a difference?

Do you thrive in a client-focused environment that embraces flexibility in service delivery?

If you're ready to take on a key role that combines clinical excellence with business acumen, we have the perfect opportunity for you. Join Allied Therapeutic Services Hub (ATS), a dynamic regional business with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, tailored allied health services across North Queensland. We are currently seeking a clinical manager and senior occupational therapist/senior speech pathologist to lead our newly renovated, warm, welcoming, and well-resourced Cairns hub. This is a unique role for someone who values working closely with clients but also has the vision and business acumen to oversee and grow a multidisciplinary team.

About the Role: As the clinical manager and senior therapist, you will play a pivotal role in managing and delivering comprehensive therapy services while leading a team of talented professionals, including occupational therapists, speech pathologists, psychologists, and positive Behaviour support practitioners. Your business acumen will be crucial as you oversee operational efficiencies, service delivery, and client engagement, ensuring the team remains motivated and aligned with our core values.

What makes ATS different is our unwavering commitment to delivering services that work best for our clients, whether it’s in-clinic, in the community, at home, via outreach, or through telehealth. You will drive this client-centric approach, ensuring that each individual receives the highest standard of care in a setting that meets their needs.

Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Management: Supervise and mentor a diverse, multidisciplinary team, fostering growth, collaboration, and professional development while ensuring high-quality client care.

Client-Centered Service Delivery: Continue to engage with clients, providing hands-on therapy in a variety of settings (in-clinic, community, home, and outreach, telehealth) to meet their unique needs and preferences.

Business & Operational Oversight: Use your business acumen to manage clinic operations efficiently, including resource allocation, financial oversight, service delivery planning, and team performance.

Strategic Growth: collaborate with the leadership team to drive service expansion and develop innovative, tailored care models that align with the community's evolving needs.

Collaborative Culture: Build strong relationships with other hubs (Townsville and Mackay) and external stakeholders, ensuring integrated and holistic care across the region.

Facility & Service Excellence: Utilise our newly renovated, warm, welcoming, and well-resourced clinic, complete with two large OT rooms, therapy rooms, an exercise physiotherapy gym, and dedicated team meeting spaces, to deliver exceptional service to clients and create a positive work environment for staff.

About You: You are an experienced and highly skilled senior occupational therapist who thrives in both clinical and leadership environments. You bring strong business acumen and are driven by the challenge of improving both clinical outcomes and operational efficiency. You have a passion for leading teams, building relationships, and ensuring the highest standard of care for every client—whether they’re seen in the clinic, at home, or remotely via telehealth. You are also someone who embodies our core values of excellence, passion, integrity, and collaboration in everything you do. You understand the challenges and opportunities that come with working in regional and remote areas and are committed to providing flexible, high-quality services to meet the diverse needs of our clients.

What We Offer: Newly Renovated, Warm, Welcoming, and Well-Resourced Clinic: Access to a beautifully designed and fully equipped facility, including two OT rooms, therapy spaces, an exercise physiotherapy gym, and a dedicated team meeting room to support your team’s clinical practice and operations.

Client-Centered Care: The opportunity to influence how services are delivered, ensuring they are tailored to the needs of each client across multiple settings, from in-clinic to telehealth.

Business Leadership: A chance to combine your clinical expertise with business leadership, driving operational success while maintaining a high standard of care.

Collaborative, supportive environment: work with a dedicated and skilled clinical team, supported by a strong practice manager and administrative team to ensure efficiency and client satisfaction.

Professional Development: Ongoing training, growth opportunities, and a chance to shape the future of allied health service delivery in North Queensland.

Work-Life Balance: Enjoy the vibrant lifestyle and stunning natural beauty of Cairns while making a tangible difference in the lives of clients.
