Our client is a distinguished Brisbane-based law firm and is expanding into Sydney to meet growing client demand. We are seeking an ambitious Corporate Lawyer who thrives working autonomously.  In return, you will have the strong backing and support of their Brisbane head office.

The firm has major clients in Sydney, and you will have a healthy pipeline of work to hit the ground running.

Key aspects and features of this opportunity: Salary package aligned to level of experience: $130,000-$150,000 (4-5 years PAE). The firm has some major clients located in Sydney that can offer interesting M&A and transactional work. You will have autonomy but also the support of a very down-to-earth principal lawyer and support team. Hybrid work flexibility is offered, with work-from-home days available if desired. What you will be doing: Collaborate with the team to handle corporate and transactional matters. Provide accurate and thorough legal advice to clients. Draft and review commercial, corporate, and construction contracts. Work unsupervised on complex corporate/MandA transactions. Assist in developing and expanding the Sydney client base. Strategically support and work alongside the principal lawyer. Mentor and support junior lawyers to help them grow and thrive.

Requirements: expertise in drafting and reviewing commercial or construction contracts. Experience in corporate law, M&A, etc. is essential. Solid understanding of legal compliance and corporate issues.
