About the role: Are you a detail-oriented financial professional with expertise in corporate accounting and tax compliance? Join our dynamic finance team as a senior financial accountant (corporate and tax), where you'll play a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, robust tax compliance, and driving process improvements within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Further to the above, please note your duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

Corporate Accounting: Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Reconcile key accounts and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS/AASB). Collaborate with internal and external auditors, providing necessary support during audits.

Tax Compliance: Manage corporate tax obligations, including income tax, GST, and FBT compliance.

Prepare and lodge tax returns, BAS, and other statutory filings. Monitor legislative changes to ensure compliance with evolving tax regulations.

Process Improvements: Identify opportunities to enhance financial reporting and tax compliance processes. Drive automation and efficiency initiatives to streamline workflows.

Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and guidance. Support management with ad hoc financial analysis and reporting.

About you: CPA or CA qualification with strong post-qualification experience. Proven expertise in financial reporting, corporate accounting, and tax compliance. Proficiency in financial systems and advanced Excel skills. A proactive, problem-solving mindset with excellent attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across teams.
