The Position: To act as a contract administrator / superintendent to coordinate and manage the delivery of Albury City's capital infrastructure projects within the Project Delivery Team. Working 35 hours per week with a fortnightly RDO. Flexible working arrangement. Come and work for an engaging and dynamic team.

About us: The position will provide direct assistance to the Wastewater Supervisor in leading a dynamic team of Operators to monitor, operate, maintain and continuously improve AlburyCity's Wastewater treatment plants. This includes undertaking both administrative and operational functions at the treatment facilities and pump stations The position will also be accountable for treatment quality and its conformance to all regulatory and compliance standards, including EPA license requirements and exceedances.

Qualifications & experience: Certificate III in Water Industry Operations (specialising in wastewater) or relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent relevant experience. Class C (standard) Driver's Licence (compulsory to have & maintain). General Construction Industry White Card. Significant experience in wastewater treatment industry. Demonstrated experience in delivering operational and capital works projects.

Tasks & responsibilities: Understand all facets of wastewater treatment operations and equipment. Must be capable of running the facilities effectively in the day-to-day operations and responding appropriately in emergency situations. Supervision of staff, including task delegation, monitoring staff performance, training and development, and developing a teamwork approach. In consultation with the supervisor, schedule and co-ordinate the procurement of services and materials for everyday operations and for the completion of maintenance and capital improvements.

Provide project management support for capital and maintenance works undertaken at the various plants, ensuring they comply with Council's codes, policies and procedures and meet WHS requirements. In conjunction with the supervisor, make recommendations on improvements in the operational, maintenance and design performance of the various plants. 

Hours: Based on 38 hours per week, working 38 hours across a 7-day spread, with actual days and times being worked in accordance with the facility roster, with an RDO in accordance with AlburyCity's RDO guidelines.
