Summary: Develop your leadership skills as you facilitate personal and professional growth in our team of occupational, speech, physio, and music therapists, as well as a Counsellor, psychologist, and dedicated admin team. Use your experience as an OT to provide best practice therapy to children from diverse backgrounds and to build the skills of our other team members as we each develop our areas of special interest.

Details of the Role: About the role: Having recently turned 50, our managing director has realized it's time to put a succession plan in place! As a result, we are looking for an experienced occupational . therapist to step up to help supervise our high-performing multidisciplinary team. This is a collaborative role that will give you the opportunity to see how our systems currently work and then transition to give you the autonomy to lead our team into this new chapter in our brand new rooms in the heart of St Marys in Western Sydney. This role's hours will be tailored to facilitate your out-of-work-time commitments reports directly to our Managing Director, Prof. Helen Nicholson, who is a physiotherapist with almost 30 years' experience.

Tasks and Responsibilities: Provide Occupational Therapy to an established caseload of clients; while our OT clients are currently paediatric, we named ourselves “Whole Family Health” so we could develop caseloads of personal interest to our clinicians. As such, there is the opportunity to diversify your caseload over time. Conduct standardised and informal assessments to determine treatment needs and report on same using our neurodiversity-affirming templates. Provide services in-clinic and, if you would like to, in the community and/or via telehealth.

Supervising our early-career therapists so that they continue to feel well-supported as they develop their skills—we have an established supervision program that you are welcome to expand upon as you become more familiar with our team's needs. Experience and qualifications: university qualification in Occupational Therapy. Current AHPRA registration. Working with Children Check. National Police Clearance. At least 3 years' experience as an occupational therapist.
