About the role Catholic Homes is seeking a casual occupational therapist to join our home care team servicing the Midwest region. Locations include Geraldton, Dongara, Kalbarri, Morawa, Mt. Magnet, Wiluna, and Sandstone.

Our Home Care team builds lasting relationships with our clients so that they may stay at home or get out into the community to do the things they enjoy. This position is responsible for supporting the clients’ needs as determined by the Occupational Therapist.

Key responsibilities of the role Plan, assess, implement and evaluate care for individual residents. Complete Occupational Therapy assessments in collaboration with residents and relatives. Liaise and refer to internal health providers as appropriate, such as Physiotherapist, Nurse practitioners, Clinical nurses, Clinical Nurse managersand registered or enrolled nurses, in order to maintain optimum health and wellbeing. Manage the Occupational Therapy Program with reference to budgeting, statistics, equipment and supplies.

To be successful in this role. Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy. Current AHPRA Registration. Valid C-Class drivers’ licence. Ability to work independently. Excellent time management skills. Aged care knowledge. Excellent Communication skills.
