Responsibilities: Evaluate daily operations. Monitor revenues to determine labour cost. Plan and organize daily operations. Set staff work schedules. Supervise staff. Train staff. Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms. Cost products and services. Organize and maintain inventory. Advise on menu selections. Address customers' complaints or concerns. Provide customer service. Supervise other servers and bussing staff. Serve food and beverages. Present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travellers cheques or room billings. Describe menu items, including daily specials for customers. Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs. Balance cash and record sales. Prepare and serve specialty food at customers' tables. Greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding food and beverages. Experience and specialization. Computer and technology knowledge. Electronic cash register.
