Add expected salary to your profile for insights. We're looking for an early-career SEO to join Megantic's AU Technical Project Management team. "Early career" can mean you're early in your working life or you’ve transitioned into SEO in recent years. A Technical Project Manager at Megantic is the client’s go-to person, developing the SEO strategy and programme of work while project managing both the delivery and execution.

A Technical Project Manager (SEO) at Megantic prioritises delivering an exceptional client experience and the best possible commercial outcomes for a client’s business through proactive engagement, clear communication, trusted advice and taking action. The nature of working with a distributed global team means that from time-to-time you will need to undertake work outside of standard Australian business hours in order to deliver a client’s project and/or participate in meetings with the Macedonia, United Kingdom or Canada teams.

As an agency awarded for team culture, Megantic understands that after team meetings, administration tasks, professional development, volunteering and giving back programs, and other team activities, a Technical Project Manager has an average of 115 paid hours a month remaining for work contracted to client accounts. Utilising these hours effectively to ensure every client gets the  service level they purchased means using the tools the agency provides, adopting new methods for tasks through inhouse training, and following Megantic’s Stage 1 - S3 processes for clients. This doesn’t mean you can’t ‘colour outside the lines'; it’s just the minimum each Megantic client deserves.

Day-to-day Responsibilities: SEO Project Management: Maintain a shared, rolling 12-month program of work for each client. Apply a client-context, detail-driven approach to managing multiple client projects and competing priorities, and use initiative to ensure projects stay on track

Communication: Clear verbal and written communication for client and Web Production team interactions to effectively convey ideas, manage client expectations, and negotiate plans.

Presentation Skills: Strong presentation skills to articulate solutions, ideas, and recommendations and summarise results clearly.

Troubleshoot & Spot Trouble Early: Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues for clients. Identify projects at risk due to low engagement, poor results, or declining revenue and take action. Technical Skills & Knowledge. Understand basic web languages: HTML, CSS and JavaScript. A basic understanding of SEO and analytics tools: Google Search Console (GSC), Google Analytics (GA4), Looker Studio, Google Tag Manager (GTM), Google Merchant Centre (GMC), Screaming Frog

A basic understanding of common eCommerce website platforms: Shopify, WordPress (WooCommerce), Magento 2, Neto/Maropost, and SquareSpace.
