About the Job: We are seeking a dynamic capability specialist to join our enterprise-wide risk program, focused on enhancing our maturity and capability in risk management. This senior role is pivotal in reviewing and aggregating capability requirements across the program, enabling a cohesive approach to uplift our internal capabilities. As a key team member, you will play an essential role in shaping our strategic objectives and ensuring that our risk management practices are embedded throughout the organisation. In this position, you will lead the integration of diverse initiatives into a unified capability program, ensuring alignment with our organisational goals. You will design and implement innovative learning solutions, promoting a culture of continuous development through adaptive learning and blended training models. Your expertise will contribute to a sustainable uplift in capabilities, fostering long-lasting behavioural change and enhanced risk awareness across the organisation.

As a proponent of psychological safety, you will help create an environment where employees feel empowered to share ideas and voice concerns. By applying human-centered design principles, you will ensure our capability uplift program resonates with the employee lifecycle, supporting holistic growth in risk management capabilities at all levels.

Responsibilities: Integrate Capability Initiatives: Lead the development of a cohesive capability program that enhances risk management across the organisation. Design Learning Solutions: Implement adaptive learning approaches that combine formal training with on-the-job learning and mentoring. Implement Blended Learning Models: Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure a balanced training approach, fostering long-term capability growth.

Deliver Sustainable Uplift: Focus on delivering programs that ensure lasting change in behaviors and risk awareness.

Evaluate Risk Capability: Conduct reviews of current risk capability programs, identifying gaps and providing strategic recommendations for enhancements.

Promote Psychological Safety: Support initiatives that foster an open culture for sharing concerns and ideas.

Apply Human-Centered Design: Use design thinking principles to align the capability uplift program with the employee lifecycle.

Collaborate on Capability Uplift Strategy: Work within the MORE program to integrate risk management understanding across the organisation.

About You: You are a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the retail banking industry and a passion for transforming risk capabilities. With at least five years of experience in a similar role, you bring expertise in implementing strategic workforce planning and fostering an environment of continuous improvement. Your strong communication, collaboration, and design thinking skills will enable you to weave together diverse initiatives into a unified capability program.

Skills and Experience Qualifications: Relevant tertiary qualification at Diploma level or above, along with formal learning qualifications.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a similar role, preferably with experience in risk transformation programs and strategic workforce planning.

Knowledge & Skills: Systems thinker with the ability to integrate disparate initiatives. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Strong collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation abilities. Understanding of strategic workforce planning and employee lifecycle.
