About the role: Based in our Ballarat office, the care organizer is essential in ensuring the effective daily delivery and coordination of services for our clients. This part-time position will see you working full-time Monday to Friday for a total of 76 hours per fortnight. The primary purpose of the position is to manage and support the effective delivery of Uniting AgeWell Home Care programs, and key responsibilities may include: Deliver efficient and effective customer service to new clients, ensuring their needs are met with the highest level of care and support. Build customer relationships and greet clients promptly and courteously. Completing an initial assessment and care plan to inform the case managers. Effective management of office systems and supplies. Monitoring and managing group email inboxes, posts, and other forms of communication. Manage database entries and appropriate documentation. Escalation/mmanagement of client enquiries /complaints and incidents reported. Maintain and coordinate schedules and rostering. Match client needs and preferences with our employees’ skills and availability. Action and document communication relating to scheduling, i.e., sick calls, rostering issues, change requests, and client enquiries.

Previous experience in rostering, scheduling, or coordinating services for clients within the aged care or health sector. Excellent customer service skills, characterised by a friendly and professional demeanor, with a reputation for care and compassion. Proven ability to excel in fast-paced environments with adaptability, resourcefulness, and strong problem-solving skills. A demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks while ensuring a high level of attention to detail and accuracy. Experience in creating and maintaining rosters within the health sector would be highly valued. Strong communication skills with a compassionate and empathetic approach to work. Proficient in working both collaboratively within a team and independently. Exceptional time management skills and highly organized. Experience utilising client management systems.
