Procurement Officer (must have experience and knowledge in the construction field). Region: Khobar (Dammam, Khobar).

We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented procurement officer to join our team in the construction industry. As a procurement officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our procurement process and contributing to the overall success of our projects. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong background in procurement and a passion for the construction industry.

Responsibilities: Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies in line with company goals and industry best practices. Identify and source reliable suppliers and vendors, negotiate contract terms, and monitor supplier performance. Collaborate with various departments to understand their procurement needs and provide guidance and support throughout the procurement process. Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential cost savings and improve overall procurement efficiency. Manage the purchase order process, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of materials and equipment. Regularly review and update procurement procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and optimize procurement practices.

Monitor inventory levels and assist in the development and implementation of inventory management systems. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, ensuring effective communication and the timely resolution of any issues.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field. Proven experience as a procurement officer or in a similar role in the construction industry. In-depth knowledge of procurement principles and best practices. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Proficient in using procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
