Specific Role Responsibilities: Responsible for implementing and maintaining the SHE system, Monthly reporting on the company’s HSE issues. Ensure compliance of SHE standard internally and to clients. Conduct SHE meetings. Perform SHE inspections & audit. Facilitate incident investigations & accident reports. Advice and support the investigation team in accidents investigations. Coordinate and conduct internal SHE training like first aid, SHE rep etc. Update the legal registers. Conduct risk assessment. Update all the emergency equipment. Implement the safety system. Administer all the SHE documents & manage the safety file. Liaise with the all stake holders and contractors. Advise and control of PPE and other safety related paraphernalia. Conduct SHE Induction. Manage emergency drills. Promote SHE awareness. Site security management. Respond to employees HSE concerns.

Qualifications and Experience

Requirements: Valid Code 8 driver’s license. Must have own vehicle. Must have own laptop. No Criminal Record. Matric, Computer literate and SAMTRAC Health and Safety qualification. At least 3 years’ experience as SHE Officer. Skills and Personal Attributes

Skills and Personal Attributes: Good telephone manner and e-mail etiquette. Good time management and admin skills, proactive hard worker, organised, and punctual. Excellent and thorough record keeping and archiving ability in respect of correspondence. Assertive with excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills to liaise with people at all levels. An ability to organise workloads in order to meet fluctuating deadlines. Strong sense of responsibility and self-motivated. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Should be immediately available. Please indicate salary expectation
