Your role: Reporting into the General Manager and as part of the leadership team, this role is responsible for managing the provision of effective and efficient engineering and technical support for our sales and operations team. They will work as the liaison between our direct sales force, customers and manufacturing operations to ensure quality builds are completed on time and to specification.

The Engineering Manager will lead a dedicated, talented team of engineers to- Work with the sales team to take and or interpret a customer specifications brief. Develop and interpret designs (using CAD). Interpret and apply applicable standards. Provide technical detail and support customer quotes. Work with the operations team to deliver a project in line with project timelines. This is an application engineering role that requires a successful applicant to work with some products designed and built in the USA.

About you We are seeking: A tertiary-qualified engineer Mechanical experience preferred. An experienced leader of a professional team, providing mentoring and guidance. Experience interpreting applicable government, technical and manufacturing standards. Comprehensive knowledge of relevant safety standards. sound commercial and financial acumen. Exceptional ability to build relationships across and at all levels of the team (someone who likes a laugh is a must). Strong attention to detail, time management and project management skills, including knowledge of project and process improvement techniques (LEAN, 5S),. A genuine and dedicated commitment to safety. Extensive experience in manufacturing or hydraulics Industry is preferred
