Metal Plating Equipment Operator, 1375295 Ontario Corp. Location, North York, ON. Salary: 23.25 hourly, / 35 to 48 hours per week. Full time. Starts as soon as possible. Languages English. Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Experience 1 to less than 7 months.

Responsibilities: Clean the work area. Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications. Check the proper thickness of the plating using micrometers, callipers, or other devices. Clean and maintain equipment. Operate and control: electroplating equipment to coat metal, hot-dip metal plating equipment to galvanize metal, and/or spray equipment to build up worn or damaged parts. Paint small items and apply touch-ups using paint brushes. Prepare and apply stencils, decals, or other decorative items to finished products. Prepare and mix metallizing solutions according to formulas or specifications. Select appropriate paint or mix paints. Tend automatic metal coating machines that convey objects through a series of cleaning, rinsing, and plating solutions. Tend or operate equipment to spray or coat.
