Responsibilities: Clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks. Understand the purpose, proper usage, and information found on material safety data sheets (MSDS). Complete onboard and other logs. Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment. Prepare accident reports. Secure special attachments to equipment. Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment. Operate two-way radios and other communication equipment. Perform minor repairs to equipment. Operate hydraulic pump systems. Credentials. Certificates, licenses, memberships, and courses. Heavy Equipment Operator Trade Certification. Driver's License (Class 1 or A). Driver's License (Class 3 or D). Air Brake (Z) Endorsement. Power Line Hazardous Training. Experience and specialization. Type of heavy equipment operated. Concrete pumping equipment. Type of industry experience. Industrial/commercial/institutional (ICI) construction. Road construction.
