About Us: Bookkeeping On the Go is an independent bookkeeping business based in Gosnells, WA. We provide bookkeeping, payroll, & BAS services to a wide variety of businesses across WA & Australia. We are a fast-growing business, and we are excited to be looking for a bookkeeper to join our team. We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly, & experienced bookkeeper with at least 5+ years’ experience in bookkeeping.

Location: This role is based in Gosnells, Western Australia; there is flexibility for some remote work depending on experience. Please do not apply if you cannot attend the office in Gosnells.

Role Description: This is a casual role for a bookkeeper/BAS agent with the opportunity to move to part-time after 3 months’ probation period. Preferred days are Tuesday and Thursday (with flexibility to discuss other days). You, the bookkeeper, will be responsible for managing multiple clients’ files and email systems, ensuring they are kept up to date weekly using multiple software systems such as Xero, MYOB, Dext, Hubdoc, and Microsoft Office.

Key responsibilities will include bank reconciliations. Maintaining the coding of client data weekly. Maintaining accounts payable and receivable. Actively follow up with overdue debtors for the client. Managing accounting software using multiple software systems. Ensuring accurate financial records. Payroll Processing. Superannuation processing & reconciliation. Balance sheet account reconciliations. Managing and filing emails in client email systems. If you are a BAS agent, you will be involved in preparing & reviewing BAS for placement.

The successful candidate will have: Minimum of 5+ years bookkeeping and accounting experience. Ability to work across multiple client’s data files. I am proficient in Xero, MYOB, Dext, Hubdoc, Outlook and Excel. Strong knowledge and experience in financial statements, bookkeeping, and accounting software. Experience in Payroll. Excellent time management skills. Ability to meet deadlines and stay on task. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience with BAS services and returns is preferred but not essential. Cert IV in Accounting & Bookkeeping is an advantage but not essential. Drivers Licence.
