Essential Personnel is a not-for-profit organisation with over 35 years’ experience of providing high-quality disability services across the metropolitan area. We deliver a program that combines education, individual support, and work experience to support young people in developing their job-readiness skills. This initiative is a unique program that combines case management, education, and work sampling placements for 50 young people per year across the Perth Metro area.

We are seeking one full-time program facilitator to deliver training content, provide individualised case management support, and assist the young person to develop their skills and succeed in the program. This role will work closely with the case worker and the other members of the Employment Buddy Program team. To be considered for this position, you will need to be motivated to assist young people with disabilities on an individual and group basis.

Selection Criteria: Relevant training qualifications, such as Training and Assessment Certificate IV or above, are essential. Relevant qualifications, such as Community Services or Disability Certificate IV or above, are desirable. Understanding of the labour market, including industry knowledge and recruitment. Experience in supporting young people with a disability. Proven teaching and/or group facilitation experience. Experience in supporting people to achieve educational outcomes. Will be self-driven, resilient, and skilled at effective time management. Be customer-focused. Able to develop and maintain relationships with young people. Be willing to undergo NDIS worker screening, a police check, and a working with children check. Valid and current driver's license.
