We partner with the world’s leading pharmaceutical companies to help bring new medicines and vaccines to the world. We are searching for research physicians to join our team. Casual and part-time positions are available to work alongside our principal investigators at our clinics in Spearwood and Osborne Park. Reporting to the Head of Clinical Trials, you will assist in the care, safety, and coordination of participants in clinical trials conducted at TrialsWest.

You will be responsible for: ensuring that the clinical trials are conducted according to ICH GCP, our clinic SOPs, and other regulatory requirements. Understanding the information contained in the investigator’s brochures and adhering to the clinical study protocol. Confirming that participants satisfy the inclusion & exclusion criteria for clinical trials. Explaining the purpose, nature, and safety aspects of clinical trials to prospective participants and obtaining and documenting their written, informed consent to participate.

Recording participant medical histories and concomitant medication use. Performing physical examinations and other tasks as required by the study protocol. Reviewing and interpreting lab results, ECGs, imaging reports and other clinical reports. Reporting adverse events.

To be considered for this role, you must: Be a qualified medical doctor with current APHRA registration. Be an Australian citizen or have work rights in Australia. Have the ability to work as part of a small, close-knit team. Be willing to get involved in other clinical trial duties, as required. Have excellent oral and written communication skills. Have meticulous attention to detail and be able to multi-task. Be professional and accountable for your work. Possess excellent computer skills. Have the ability and desire to work with minimal supervision, but still enjoy working alongside other team members. Enjoy the challenge of recruiting study participants.

Prior experience conducting clinical trials would be highly desirable; however, this is not essential as full training will be provided.
