Laboratory Technician, Region: Jeddah (JEDDAH). A leading construction company is looking for a laboratory technician who is Aramco-approved and certified and can handle the following tasks; only WhatsApp calls are accepted. Trail mixes of design mixes for concrete (sulfur extended & conventional).

Prepare RFI as per QA/QC schedule. Closely monitor contractor conformance to the approved quality plane and procedures with project appointed third party inspection. Maintained QA/QC operation by following policies and procedures reporting needed changes, witnessed test, and standard, and certified appropriate documentations that formed party of quality records. Keep record of all materials test report. Monitor calibration of plant scale and other equipment in the lab. Witness the temperature & slump of the fresh concrete at the batching plant. Check & verify the result of the laboratory test of the finished products every month. Review all technical submittals, special mix design requirements and material properties.

Supervise monitoring of compressive strength test of cylinder & cubes at the laboratory. Check the batching plant on the implementation of company standards. Witness inspection with clients. Monitoring of material inspection at batching plant. Coordinate with clients on behalf of company and implement approved quality control programs.

Checking of aggregates washing facilities: Checking of aggregates storages. Checking TDS of mixing water. Checking raw water, chilled water & melted ice. Checking cement storage. Checking central mixer. Checking of plant control system. Checking concrete chemical admixture dispensers. Verify calibration certificates from approved calibration agency. General safety requirements. Checking Every Concrete Delivery Transact Mixers.

Checking aggregates stock piling. Checking source of aggregates. Checking Aggregates hopper. Materials testing & batching plant qc laboratory. Checking complete quality tests of raw materials. Checking PH value of mixing water. Silica fume accordance with specification of chemical admixture for concrete. Ensure all laboratory testing equipment are calibrated. Review mill test certificate for cement. Monitor aggregate stockpiles for segregation and contamination and make sure stockpiles keep separate.

Ensure that concrete production is as per approved mix design. Check the concrete temperature at batch plant. Conducting contractor initial survey for concrete plant. Conduct all concrete raw material sampling and review of third party test report. Witness the preparation of trial mix at batch plant. Ensure that all transit mixer is approved and have proper revolution counter. Review all third party test result. Maintain and complete all inspection records and inspection & test records.
