We are currently looking to hire a front desk role for our Sydney-based team that will also assist with finance tasks.

What the role is: You will sit at a very quiet front desk while you assist with purchasing work for our finance team, such as establishing preferred suppliers, building strong working relationships with internal and external customers and ensuring products meet the requirements of the organizations.
This includes: Assisting our Corporate Services Manager by taking control of our front desk. Vetting new suppliers to ensure they are legitimate businesses, creditworthy, and ethical. Management of centralised credit card purchasing and maintenance of the reconciliation of the credit card. Ensure compliance with all expense policies and procedures. Build strong, trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Rolling out cost-saving initiatives is undertaken to find savings where possible.
About You: Experience working on a front-desk role. Well-developed communication skills, with the ability to develop relationships with internal customers and external suppliers. Proficiency with Microsoft suites (word, excel) and Enterprise resource planning systems. Completes required mandatory learning and training prior to due date. Excellent writing and verbal communication skills. Strong technical knowledge. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. We do NOT require a tertiary degree for this role; we are more focused on your previous experience and your skills.
