This business specialises in providing professional tree services within the commercial sector, servicing businesses including but not limited to private schools, universities, hospitals, tourist venues, business parks, aged-care facilities and golf courses.

The business is now at a point of needing a commercially minded, industry-experienced General Manager to work alongside a strategic-minded business owner as they embark on becoming a leading providing of high-end commercial tree work in Melbourne.

What do you do?

Provide ongoing support, leadership and management of all staff whether they be onsite or office-based. Play a massive part in the tendering and quoting of new work whilst constantly maintaining the relationships of current clientele. Harness your commercial nouse to implement a growth strategy involving acquiring high-profile commercial clients. Play a vital role in the recruitment and ongoing development of staff and also targeted acquisition of other tree companies that operate in the premium end of this sector. Alongside operational support ensure all machinery and equipment are up to date and in line with safety protocols.

What do you need?

At least 10 years of experience within the Arboriculture industry, with a large portion of that being with team leadership or operations. Proven experience in building and retaining a client base within Arboriculture. Understanding of safety protocol and industry standards. Staff management experience, whether it be through running crews or even your own business. Proven ability to run profitable day-to-day business operations.
