Financial Manager, Location, Robertson, Cape Winelands, Job Type Full-Time. Our client, an established agricultural company specializes in the production of soft citrus fruit in the Western Cape.   They are now looking to hire a Financial Manager at their offices situated in Robertson.

This position is responsible for aiding business planning and decision-making by providing appropriate financial advice and managing related accounts administration.

Qualification and Experience: Tertiary financial qualification in Accounting (B.Com/CIMA/B.Compt). Preferable completed articles (SAICA/SAIPA). At least 3 to 5 years of commercial experience preferable within the agricultural sector.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Strong communication skills (written, oral and presentation skills). Excellent problem solving, analytical and numerical skills. Focus on attention to detail. Strong organisational skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and promote positive relationships. Excellent computer skills (Excel, Pastel etc.). Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Reporting to the CFO, KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS will include: Manage the financial accounting teams of various entities in the group. Manage, collate, prepare and interpret reports, budgets, and financial statements. Implementation & management of financial systems and controls. Liaise with internal and external auditors. Managing all tax-related requirements. Evaluating projects. Keeping up to date with changes in regulations and legislation and new industry developments.
