Engineering Surveyor, Baseline Surveys Pty Ltd. Perth WA. Surveying (Construction). Contract/Temp. $70 – $90 per hour.

Our projects are typically FIFO servicing the mining and civil sectors throughout Western Australia. Concentrating on dams, earthworks, roads, concrete and steel costructions, our surveyors have several years of combined experience and work as a team to provide the best possible service to our clients and help each other grow as surveyors at the same time.

The Role We offer variable rosters and are currently looking for candidates seeking a 2:1 or 2:2 roster. We are open to interstate applicants and will cover flights or assist with relocation to Perth if desired. Ideally, candidates will be self-motivated team players. Demonstrated ability to work either independently or as part of a team will be held in high regard. Responsibilities: Responsibilities for the current role shall be: Liaise with client and ensure their needs are understood and fulfilled. Pre-calculation of setout files based on supplied design. Setout all works as required using both total station and GPS. Field data collection, reporting and archiving. Machine Control support through error troubleshooting and design file preparation.

Your Skills and Qualifications: The following qualifications and skills are pre-requisites for the job: Tertiary qualifications in Surveying essential. Ability to use Trimble GPS and Total Stations. UAV Licence and DJI experience (preferred but training can be provided). Ability to use 12d (or Civil 3d, TBC). Ability to use Autocad. Current manual driver's licence. Good communication with our own team and client. A strong work ethic and passion for surveying.
