Surveyor / Enumerator, Location, Other, Cape Town, Job Type Temporary, Survey Enumerator Opportunity. A specialist survey company is looking to recruit Enumerators (field surveyors) for Urban and Rural fieldwork in the Western Cape. The Survey Enumerator position entails conducting interviews at specific households of +- 1 hour for a Household questionnaire and 4 Individual questionnaires of 45 minutes each for the same household.

Minimum Requirements: Minimum qualification – Matric or Degree in any field. Demonstrated skills in field data collection, and involvement in any Survey project that involved interviews with households. Familiarity with mobile application for data collection (For this project CAPI / SurveyCTO will be used for capturing data). Must be fluent in English. Must have good communication and observation skills and be able to deal with challenging situations during the interview. Must have a respectful and sensitive approach not to offend anyone in areas that must be surveyed. Must be a team player and must be able to work efficiently in the fieldwork team. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Attention to detail and ability to capture accurate and high quality data. Ability to be discreet and maintain confidentiality. Required to work six (6) days a week. Must be willing to work beyond normal working hours if necessary. Must be willing to work away from home if necessary

Added advantages: Drivers licence and management skills. Remuneration Will be based on competitive market rates and paid per successful household interviews completion. Include at least the following information: Qualification (e.g. Matric) Previous surveys involved with Drivers license (“Do not have” or applicable code) Languages (indicate basic/medium/fluent for reading / writing for each language listed) Town of residence (eg Cape Town)
